The Pikeville Police Department announced it will be hosting a cookout for National Law Enforcement Memorial Week and they invite all first responders, family and the community.

The Cookout will be held at Bob Amos Shelter #2 on Thursday, May 18, starting at 11 am.

Officials with the police department said if weather conditions would happen to be harsh on the day of the event, they would reschedule it for a later date.
