Two Ohio Men Charged with Drug Offenses Following Drug Bust Conducted by Prestonsburg Police

Two men from Ohio are being charged following a traffic stop that led police to find an assortment of illegal substances.

The Prestonsburg Police Department announced that Sherman Stoutmire of Cincinnati and Raymond Jackson of Beaver, Ohio are being charged with drug related offenses.

According to police, Officer Spriggs and Detective Hutchinson with Prestonsburg Police conducted a traffic stop Yesterday evening on a 2006 Ford Fusion after observing the vehicle speeding and improperly changing lanes.

During the stop, one of the men consumed an uncertain amount of drugs. Police investigated Stoutmire and Jackson and discovered several bags of meth, suboxone, molly and ecstasy in their vehicle

More charges are pending and the case remains under investigation.
