Floyd County Schools is proud to announce our 5-Star Employee Recognition program. Employees who exhibit exceptional customer service, teamwork and embody the values of hard work, reliability, honesty, commitment, and enthusiasm have been nominated by their colleagues.

With nearly 400 nominations received, it is clear that our employees are dedicated to providing outstanding service to our students, families, and community.

Superintendent Anna Shepherd emphasized the importance of the recognition, stating, “Our employees are the heart and soul of our district, and their commitment to our students and community is truly remarkable. The 5-Star Employee program recognizes the outstanding efforts of our employees and highlights their invaluable contributions to our district.”

The nominees are recognized at work with a gold star and a copy of the submitted comments describing why they are a 5-Star Employee. Additionally, their names are displayed on a wall at the Floyd County Board of Education’s Central Office to honor their outstanding achievements.

Floyd County Schools would like to extend our sincerest congratulations to the employees that have received the 5-Star recognition and thank them for their hard work and dedication to their team, students, and families. This is one small way we can recognize and honor the contributions of our amazing employees.
