Woman in Pike County Arrested and Charged after Aiming Gun at Woman in Gas Station Parking Lot

A woman in Pike County now faces a felony charge after she allegedly aimed a gun at another woman at a gas station parking lot.

According to police, security footage captured at a gas station in Kimper shows 41 year old Kristen Chapman of Kimper arguing with a woman who was in a car parked next to Chapman. During the argument, Chapman allegedly pulled a firearm from her waistband and aimed it at the other woman, and hit the other woman in the chest with the muzzle of the gun. 

The other woman knocked the gun out of Chapman’s hand and the two women started fistfighting each other.

Chapman was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment in the first degree and is facing up to five years in prison.
