The Floyd County Fiscal Court announced that beginning Friday, June 9th, Waste Connections in Martin will take trash free of charge once a month for Floyd County residents. 

The free dumping will only be on Mondays and Fridays only from 8am to 4pm. All trash will be accepted except the following: tires, batteries, oil, items contain freon and construction debris. In order to receive free service, you must reside in Floyd County and have your I.D. on hand.
