Four people in Floyd County were charged with drug related offenses after police responded to a drug complaint at the Dollar General located in Allen.

The Prestonsburg Police Department responded to a drug complaint Monday at the Allen Dollar General, where Detective Hutchinson, Sergeant Hinkle, and Officer Watson opened an investigation after encountering four suspects.

During the investigation, police discovered meth, fentanyl, marijuana, scales and cash.

Kevin Spears of Prestonsburg, Christa Spears of Allen and Michael Case of Harold were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st offense meth and trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st offense derivatives of carfentanil/fentanyl, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The fourth suspect, Megan Ball of Dana, was charged with public intoxication.

The investigation is ongoing.
