Big Sandy Area Development District will be hosting an event at Archer Park in Prestonsburg on Thursday, June 15th For World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.

The event will be at the big shelter at the foundation area and will have a short awareness walk, free food and refreshments, free goodies and will have information and resources on elder abuse.

The event is free to the public and is being held in order to raise awareness of elder abuse. For more information about the event, you can call (606) 886-2374.
