Prestonsburg City’s Utilities has lifted the boil water advisory that was issued on June 10th due to water line break. The advisory included customers in Daniels Creek, right fork of Haus Branch of Prater Creek and Gunnell Branch of Prater Creek.

The boil water advisory was issued as a precautionary measure. The water lines have been flushed and water samples taken in the area have been analyzed by a certified lab. The lab results indicate that the water supply was not compromised and is safe for customers to use.
