Emma Grace Newsome Emery, age 71, of Harold, KY, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 in Charleston, WV.  She was born April 17, 1952 in Floyd Co., KY, a daughter of the late Jay Lee and Annie Hall Newsome.  She retired as a technician for Bio Med.

She is survived by her daughter; Teresa Renee Evans Little, Harold, KY, one step daughter; Amy (Shawn) Heppner, Niles, Michigan, one brother; Clinnon (Ruby) Newsome, Prestonsburg, KY, one sister; Ruthie (Harvey) Tuttle, LaGrange, IN, three grandchildren; Zackary (Carly) Hall, Lyndsey Little and Cilly (Cheyanne) Orsborne, One step granddaughter; Hailey Heppner two great grandchildren; Kinzleigh and Zayla.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Arnold and Clyde Newsome, four sisters; Madeline Mitchell, Philistene Mitchell, Charlene Hoover and Nevelene Blankenship.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Visitation is from 6 until 10 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
