Claude Slone Jr., age 79 of Whitesburg, Kentucky, formerly of Lackey, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Claude Slone & Daily Slone Robinson. He is survived by his Son: Dale (Patsy) Slone of Whitesburg, Kentucky; Daughter: Jamie (David) Combs of Lackey, Kentucky;

Brother & Sisters: Clyde Slone of North Manchester, Indiana, Lida Bentley of Ivel, Kentucky & Alberta Caudill of Lackey, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Donnie Combs Michael Combs & Devin Adams; 12 Great Grandchildren; Special Great Nephew: Luke Medina; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family & Friends. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son: Ricky Slone Jr.; Brothers & Sister: Cline Slone, RD Slone, Lora Slone & Mable Medina. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Visitation will begin Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11am at the church and will continue all day Sunday, June 18, 2023

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 at 11am at Lackey Freewill Baptist Church, Lackey, Kentucky with Larry Patton, David Tussey & Johnny Collins officiating

Burial will follow at Lackey Cemetery, Lackey, Kentucky
