A Prestonsburg woman was found dead on Sunday at a home on Arkansas Creek in Martin.

38 year old Amber Spradlin was confirmed dead at the scene by Floyd County Coroner Greg Nelson, who said that Spradlin’s body was taken to Frankfort for an autopsy at the State Medical Examiner’s Office.

According to police, Spradlin’s death was caused by injuries that they believed to be a result of foul play.

Kentucky State Police Post 9 in Pikeville are investigating the case with Det. Justin Wireman leading the investigation.
