A Floyd County Man was arrested Yesterday following a drug bust conducted by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies with the sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at a home in the Melvin Community. During their search, police found roughly 5 ounces of crystal meth, prescription pills, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia.

Jeffery Hunter of Melvin was arrested and charged with 1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a Handgun while being a convicted felon, drug paraphernalia possession and other drug related charges.
