Dorothy Mae Scott-Shepherd, age 60 of Gunlock, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023 in Gunlock, Kentucky. She was born September 19, 1962 in Garrett, KY to Evelyn Wilson-Scott and the late Rush Scott. She was the Widow of the late Christopher Shepherd. Along with her mother she is survived by her Sons: Christopher Tyler Shepherd, Samuel Ray Shepherd; Daughter: Sabrina Renee Shepherd; Brothers: Clinton Scott, Ronald Scott, Paul Scott, Tony Scott. Sisters: Tammy Green, Loretta Parks; Grandchildren: Kaylee Parsons, Annabelle Parsons, Addison Parsons, Baby Boy Shepherd; Along with her father & Husband she was preceded in death by her son: Russell Vanderpool. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation will begin Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 6pm at the funeral home and will continue all day Monday, July 10, 2023

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11AM at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky

Burial will follow at Chaffins Family Cemetery, Mousie, Kentucky
