Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Update:

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of one-lane traffic and lengthy delays on KY 3401 in Letcher County. The work site is located between mile points 0.1 and 0.3 (.01 miles West of KY 588).

Crews will be drilling multiple sites along the route. Due to the size of the drilling equipment and narrow roads traffic will be delayed upwards of 25 minutes at a time. Traffic will be controlled by portable signal lights during day and nighttime hours until the project is completed.

Motorists are encouraged to use KY 588 to KY 931 as an alternate route or plan for the delay.
