Eastern Kentucky Man Indicted after Alleged Rape and Abuse of Stepdaughter

An Eastern Kentucky Man has been indicted after being accused of raping his stepdaughter.

30 year old Stuart Horton of Magoffin County has been charged with rape, sodomy and sexually abusing a minor under 12 years old. All three offenses are first-degree.

According to officials, Kentucky State Police administered Horton a lie detector test as they were investigating the alleged abuse. Horton confessed to the crimes after he underwent the test.

Also according to officials, Horton’s stepdaughter was around 8 or 9 years old when Horton began abusing her.

Horton is facing 10 to 20 years in prison for the rape and sodomy charges and 5 to 10 years for the sex abuse charge.
