Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Update:

FLOYD COUNTY (July 31, 2023) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises the public of a scheduled detour along KY 680 in Floyd County. Beginning Thursday, August 3, traffic along Ky 680 will detour onto KY 979 for the next four to five weeks to complete final paving operations for the new KY 680 corridor. The detour begins at MP 11.28 (across from Otis Hall Rd) and ends at MP 10.0 (near Branhams Creek).

Motorists are encouraged to pay close attention to signage and equipment entering and exiting the area. Congested traffic and delays are possible during this time.
