A couple from Pikeville was arrested Tuesday on a theft charge for allegedly stealing money from a misplaced purse. 

According to officials, 32 year old Jeffery Miller and 28 year old Golden Miller found a purse back in February that was misplaced in a shopping cart.

Security video that captured the incident reveals that two suspects, who are allegedly Jeffery and Golden Miller, stole $266 from a wallet that was inside the purse then placed the wallet back. The millers then left the store.

The couple was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor charge of theft of mislaid property.
