KTC Update: Closure along KY 122 in Pike County Starting Friday, August 11th

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Update:

PIKE COUNTY (August 8, 2023) – The Kentucky Department of Transportation advises motorists of a weekend closure along KY 122 in the Shelby Dry Fork area of Pike County for a cross-drain replacement project. The work site is located at mile-point 15.6 (.3 miles West of US 460) just south of the Dry Fork Bridge.

Repairs will begin Friday, August 11, starting at 11 p.m. Crews will cut across KY 122 to remove the old structure and work backfilling throughout the weekend to install the new drain. The road will re-open at approximately 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 13.

Motorists will need to use an alternate route during this time and pay close attention to signage in the area.

KYTC will perform the work. Schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
