The Martin County 911 and Emergency Management helped the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies find a suspect using a drone on Saturday evening. After a suspect ran away from deputies, they received help from multiple agencies to locate the suspect in the Tug River. The Unmanned Air System used thermal technology to help find the suspect in the water. The suspect was found near the West Virginia portion of the river and was taken to an area hospital for treatment before being taken back into custody.
