A Letcher County man currently under indictment in a pair of drug cases is back in trouble once again, after police raided his home following an undercover operation to buy drugs from him. Coy Lee Johnson, 55, of Neon, was arrested last Friday evening, after officers searched his home. Police got ahold of a search warrant after an undercover informant was alleged to have bought 1.5 grams of meth from Johnson on one occasion, and 2 grams on a second. During Friday’s hunt, police took meth, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
Johnson is now charged with meth and fentanyl trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Letcher County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
