Reva A. Hamilton, age 73, died Saturday March 2, 2024. She was born May 28, 1950, to the late Earl and Oma Pennington Salyers. Reva was a maid for the Carriage House and a member of the Concord Independent Church. On November 4, 1967, she married Wilburn Hamilton who survives. Reva is also survived by one son: Chris (Kami) Hamilton of Van Lear, KY, one granddaughter: Shandra Hamilton of Madison Heights, MI, one grandson: Cordell Hamilton and two step grandchildren: Blake Meek and Brook Meek, two brothers: Troy Salyers of Oil Springs, KY & Roy Salyers of Flat Gap, KY, three sisters: Enda Mae Fultz of Beattyville, KY, Jodie Isaacs of Nicholasville, KY & Mary Shanks of Beattyville, KY. Along with her parents, Reva is also preceded in death by one son: Chad Hamilton. Visitation will be held Tuesday March 5, 2024 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Preston Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Steve Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery in Staffordsville, KY.
