A shooting that caused at least five Kentucky school districts to go on lockdown Friday was over a four-wheeler, according to court documents. It happened Friday in the Bethany community of Wolfe County. The court documents say Pedro Torices pulled a gun during an argument over the four-wheeler and fired four times, hitting the victim twice. The victim had to be flown to a Lexington hospital. The victim’s condition is not known. Torices was apprehended by police after an 18-hour manhunt. He is charged with assault, unlawful imprisonment & terroristic threatening. He is being held at the Three Forks Regional Jail The incident caused lockdowns at schools in Wolfe, Breathitt, Owsley, Magoffin, Powell & Lee Counties.
