At its regular meeting on March 11, the Paintsville City Council once again talked about the possibility of allowing UTVs on certain commercial, non-residential streets in the City of Paintsville to help promote adventure tourism. With the discussion entered into the minutes, the next steps in allowing the vehicles ingress and egress into the city now falls on the state, which must approve the use of certain state roads that connect the city and the trailheads for proposed trails, according to Councilwoman Ashley McKenzie.
