FLAT GAP MAN SENTENCED TO FEDERAL PRISON

A Johnson County man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison, after he plead guilty to federal drug and gun charges. Timothy Morman, 55, of Flat Gap, said he was guilty to possession of meth, fentanyl, cocaine and oxycodone with the intent to distribute and using a firearm in a drug trafficking crime. He was arrested in 2022 when the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office raided his home and found meth, heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, LSD and marijuana. On Thursday, a judge sentenced him to 96 months for the drug charge and 60 months for the gun charge, for a total of 156 months. He is currently in the Pike County Detention Center, waiting to be transferred to the federal prison system.
