At its regular meeting on Monday, March 4, the Paintsville Utilities Commission approved an approximately $195,000 project to clean out lagoons at the Johns Creek Wastewater Treatment facility. According to Paintsville Utilities General Manager Bob Pack, this is a standard-issue maintenance item for lagoon-style treatment plants.
