Pedro Toreices, the guy who went on a shooting rampage March 8th in Campton that locked down several regional schools, went before a judge virtually in Wolfe District Court. State Police detective Ethan Crouch provided evidence that this was all over an argument concerning a side by side utility vehicle. Crouch said Torices fired multiple shots, hitting another person, Roger Pelfrey, twice. He said Pelfrey was flown to UK Hospital and is recovering from injuries. Torices’ attorney argued that the bond, which is currently set at $5 million, should be lowered. The judge said he would review the bond. The Wolfe County Grand Jury reportedly has 60 days to return an indictment.
