VIRGINIAN ARRESTED IN KENTUCKY

judge-2

A Buchanan County man was arrested in Martin County, after police found him with a truck that had been reported stolen out of Virginia. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office got a report of the vehicle possibly being in Warfield Thursday, but an initial search turned up nothing. It was later found parked at an Inez pawn shop, and a deputy stopped to talk to the driver, identified as Samuel Stacy, 42, of Grundy, who the police report says appeared “extremely nervous.” The deputy ran the tags, which came back for a different vehicle, and then the VIN, which confirmed the truck had been reported as stolen.
