A crowd gathered on March 14 at Rosenberg Square for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and to further celebrate the couple to whom the square is dedicated — John and Jean Rosenberg. Prestonsburg Tourism Director Samantha Johnson spoke about John and Jean Rosenberg’s dedication to the Prestonsburg community. Both John and Jean Rosenberg have worked on many projects in the area including bringing the East Kentucky Science Center to fruition. Both have remained active in the Prestonsburg community.
