A 5-year-old has died after being ejected from an ATV. Kentucky State Police troopers said the incident happened Saturday morning near KY-397 in the Jackson community of Breathitt County.

Officers said a 19-year-old was driving the ATV on private property when she lost control.

The teen was taken to Kentucky River Medical Center and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police said they were wearing helmets.
