Belfry is in mourning after a Belfry Middle School student-athlete, Noah Cross died.

The young man had been hospitalized at the University of Kentucky in a battle with meningitis.

He was returned to Pike County receiving an escort from Kentucky State Police. Noah was 14 years old.
