James David “Jamie” Stambaugh, age 53 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at his residence. Born August 18, 1970 in Johnson County, Kentucky to David Glen Stambaugh and the late, Vicky Salyers Stambaugh.

Jamie is survived by his father, David Glen Stambaugh; stepmother, Debra Stambaugh; two daughters: Victoria (Kyle) Wright of Van Lear, Kentucky and Bobbie Rizzo of Manchester, Kentucky; one brother, Donnis Skaggs, Jr. of Johnson County, Kentucky; one sister, Fonda (Nick) Lumbreras of Staffordsville, Kentucky; two grandchildren: Baily Stevens and Lukas Wright; one nephew and one niece.

A memorial service for Jamie will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
