Zalie Thornsberry Combs, age 79 of Mousie, Ky. Passed away on Monday April 15, 2024, at the Martin ARH in Martin, Kentucky. She was born on April 6, 1945, in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Elmol and Mary Slone Thornsberry. She was the Wife to the late James A. Combs.

Zalie is survived by her Son- Shane Allen Combs; Bonus Son- Tom Parsons; Brothers- Adron Thornsberry, Randall Thornsberry, Earl Dana Thornsberry; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.

 

Zalie is preceded in passing by her Husband- James A. Combs; Parents- Elmol and Mary Slone Thornsberry; Siblings- Daniel Thornsberry, Stanley Thornsberry, Flo Reed, Buena Gail Little, Debra Lynn Thornsberry, Arnie Elliott, Yvonne Thornsberry.

 

The family will receive friends from 6PM-10PM Tuesday April 16, 2024, and continue all day on Wednesday April 17, 2024, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, Kentucky with service each evening at 7PM.

Funeral services will be 12PM, Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral in Hindman, Kentucky with Curtie Hall and others Officiating. Burial to follow at the Salyers Family Cemetery in Leburn, Kentucky. Zalie will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
