A man has been arrested on kidnapping and officer obstruction charges after an incident in Huntington late Tuesday night. According to the criminal complaint, Brandon Crabtree has been charged with kidnapping, child neglect resulting in injury, and officer obstruction. The complaint says officers responded to a house in the 400 block of 27th Street in Huntington for a breaking and entering report. Officers arrived to see a shattered window and broken glass on the porch. The woman who called the police told them her child’s father had broken the front door and ran into an upstairs bedroom with their 2-year-old son.
