Floyd County will not receive as much coal severance funds this year as it did last year due to an accounting error in Frankfort, Judge-Executive Robbie Williams said during the court’s regular meeting April 17. Williams said he is waiting on information about how much the coal severance discretionary funds the county will receive for its asphalt program. Williams said the county has to wait and see “how this all plays out.”
