More than 40 homes will be built on two sites at what is commonly referred to as Cliff, with 29 to be built on one parcel of land and another 13 to 15 on another location across the road, Williams said. Construction of the homes should begin in three to six months, Williams said. Clarifying a misconception about the project, Williams said houses will not be available free of charge to flood victims. “They will help to subsidize down payments and low-interest loans,” he said.
