Magoffin County, Ky – A Louisville man is expected to plead guilty to a reduced federal drug charge tied to his 2023 arrest in Magoffin County. Prosecutors say 36‑year‑old Robert Earl Pilgrim was pulled over in August 2023 and found with a large amount of meth, leading to an indictment for possessing more than 500 grams with intent to distribute. A hearing is set for February 18 in Lexington for Pilgrim to formally enter his guilty plea.

Louisa, Ky – A second financial firm has now sued Addiction Recovery Care, accusing the company of defaulting on a loan tied to anticipated tax refunds. Clear Cove now alleges ARC did the same thing to them, and in a prior motion to intervene in Angelica’s case, Clear Cove claimed ARC sold the same tax credits to both companies.
