Berea College had a visitor from Hogwarts last week. Emma Watson, best known for her role as Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter film series, made an unpublicized visit to the school to discuss feminism with students at the bell hooks Institute. During her visit she also learned about the history and diversity of Kentucky, which she referred to as “beautiful.” The two had a discussion published in February in Paper Magazine, as part of their “Girl Crush” series, where “women with mutual admiration for one another get together for conversations that offer illuminating looks into what it’s like to be a woman right now.”
