The sons of three Morehead couples have been promoted by the Kentucky State Police. Sgt. Toby Gardner, Sgt. Steven Wilson, and Sgt. Jackie D. Cottrell, III received their promotional certificates from KSP Comissioner Rick Sanders and John Grate, deputy secretary of the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet, on September 16. Gardner, a 20-year KSP veteran, is assigned to KSP Post 6 in Dry Ridge along with Cottrell, who has served for 12-years. Wilson has been with the agency for three years and assigned to the Facilities Security Branch.
