KY 1426, Toler Creek in Floyd County, will be closed to all traffic this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at a the mouth of Left Fork. D-12 Section Engineer for Floyd County Matt Moore said that a multi-plate cross drain will be installed underneath the pavement at this location. He explained motorists will be able to drive up but not through the work zone because it will be cut in two. The contractor, Mountain Enterprises, will make every effort to finish the work by Friday evening, but people should be prepared for the road to be closed until Saturday. Moore said “We are sorry for the temporary inconvenience, but we are trying to get any falling cross drains replace before winter weather sets in. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience.”
