Equine enthusiasts may be excited as today is the opening day of Keeneland. The legendary Kentucky horse track is prepped to kick off Fall Star Weekends, which it calls “the ultimate celebration of world-class racing in the heart of horse country.” The three day event will have nine graded stakes with cash prizes worth over $3.7 million. Winners from seven of the events will go on to the Breeder’s Cup Championships in November.
