Kentucky employers will see a reduction in Unemployment Insurance tax rates for the first time since 2008, said Education and Workforce Development Cabinet Secretary Hal Heiner. This reduction is due to a positive balance in the UI trust fund, which will save employers in the state over $50 million annually. An additional $15 million  will be saved with the taxable wage base being frozen at $10,200 for the next four years.
