Boy Scout Troop 833 and Cub Scout Pack 833 held a cleanup at Big Sandy Community and Technical College’s Hager Hill campus on September 6. The Boy Scouts of America were founded in 1910 and has more than 2.4 million members. The boy scout goal is to train youth in responsible citizenship, character development and self-reliance. The two troops consist of 29 total members and this community service will help them develop a core component in scouting.
