Grand Jury Returns Indictment on Ashland Murder Suspect

On Tuesday, the Ashland Police Department held a press conference to announce a grand jury returned a True Bill indictment against Jacob Lane. Lane was indicted on Burglary 2nd degree, Murder, and a new charge of Robbery in the 1st degree. The charge of murder comes after Justin Reeder was found dead in Lawrence County Ohio after being killed in a robbery by Lane. Ashland Detectives also obtained a warrant for Zachary Tarleton of Ironton, Ohio for Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery 1st degree in this case, as he provided the weapon used against Reeder. Lane is being held in the Boyd County Detention Center, while Tarleton is currently in the Lawrence County Ohio Detention Center awaiting extradition to Boyd County.
