A Laurel County man was arrested Sunday night after a domestic disturbance complaint. Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Daniel Grigsby arrested Jeffrey Fleming, 22 of East Bernstadt around 10:30pm November 6. When deputies arrived at the scene, they learned the subject had a verbal disturbance after he apparently choked his girlfriend and struck her in the left eye. Fleming was charged with 4th degree assault domestic violence and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
