In honor of National Diabetes Awareness Month in November, King’s Daughters Center for Healthy Living is hosting a diabetes health fair from 10am to 2pm Thursday, November 17 at King’s Daughters Family Care Center at 1279 Old Abbot Mountain Road in Prestonsburg. The health fair will feature free blood glucose checks, along with education, healthy recipes, snacks and door prizes. In addition, King’s Daughters Surgical Weight Loss team members will also be there to speak with anyone interested in bariatric surgery. No registration is required.
