A traffic stop Tuesday in Floyd County lead to an arrest for drugs and other charges. Marvin Ousley, 36, of Prestonsburg, was stopped when he was observed operating his vehicle on Route 1428 in a reckless manner and nearly had a collision with a sheriff’s vehicle. When stopped, deputies noticed drug paraphernalia inside Ousley’s vehicle, which he attempted to hide. He was arrested for tampering with physical evidence, after which a search was performed on his vehicle resulting in the discovery of a baggie filled with 25 gabapentin. Ousley is facing charges of tampering, illegal possession of drug and drug paraphernalia, and several traffic violations.
