Dr. Patsy Jackson DNO, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, program coordinator of the associate degree nursing program at Big Sandy Community and Technical College has been named a Presidential Fellow to the Tennessee Valley Consortium Council of Presidents. In this roll, Dr. Jackson will work with BSCTC President Dr. Devin Stephenson, who also serves on the Council. Dr. Jackson will work with the consortium to provide input on programming and implementation of new ideas. Dr. Stephenson said Jackson will be a valuable asset, as she understands the value of community colleges. Dr. Jackson said she will use this experience to expand her leadership capacity toward the goal of herself one day serving as a college president.
