The City of Prestonsburg will be holding a Christmas Parade Friday, December 2 at 7:00pm. There will be three categories for judging parade participants: floats, school floats, and the “jacked up” category, that’s anything with wheels that’s not a float. Entry is free and each category winner will receive a $200 prize. Participants will line up on Arnold Avenue at the high school beginning at 6:00pm with the parade starting at 7:00pm. Winners will be announced at Destination Community Church following the parade, along with Santa’s arrival, a tree lighting ceremony, and much more. For more information, call 606-886-2335.
