6 Arrested in Laurel County, 5 for Meth Related Charges

Six people were arrested in Laurel County Sunday afternoon, five of which were for meth. Detectives Jason Back and James Sizemore made the arrest, after an investigation conducted on Goodin Lane resulted in the discovery of an active meth lab. Jimmy Mullins, 56, Robert Weist, 36, Mark Mullins, 51, and Patricia Stanely, 36, were all charged with 1st degree manufacturing methamphetamine, with Stanley also charged on a parole violation. Chris Mahan, 40, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest, after he was found in possession of a needle and suspected crystal methamphetamine. The sixth arrest was of 40 year old Samantha Mullins, who was arrested on charges of failure to appear in court on charges of shoplifting. They were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
