At 2:24pm Monday, Kentucky State Police in Morehead received a call from Bath County Dispatch to assist the Bath County Sheriff’s Office with the discovery of human remains. KSP responded to 3391 US 60 east and was advised that the human remains were located under a brush pile. Bath County Coroner Robbie Powell later arrived at the scene and removed the remains. The remains were sent to the KSP Central Laboratory in Frankfort for identification. The case remains under investigation by KSP.
